Amazon Advertising & Optimization ManagerLocation: Minneapolis, MNReports to: Director of EcommerceRole OverviewThe Advertising & Optimization Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth through on-site and off-site digital advertising across PSi’s ecommerce ecosystem. This role owns strategy, execution, optimization, and performance analysis of paid media investments across platforms including Amazon, Target, Walmart, and emerging channels.In addition to campaign execution, this role plays a critical insights and storytelling function, translating performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for internal teams and PSi’s brand partners.Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Advertising & PPCOwn on-site advertising strategy across Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other retail media networksManage budgets, bids, and campaign structures to maximize ROAS, efficiency, and profitabilityOptimize campaigns across sponsored products, brands, display, and emerging ad formatsPartner with brand partners and internal PSi stakeholders to align advertising with launches, inventory, pricing, and promotional plansOff-Site Advertising & Demand GenerationDevelop and execute off-site advertising strategies to drive awareness, traffic, and engagementManage influencer, paid social, digital media, and performance-based campaignsEvaluate channel mix, audience targeting, and attribution to drive incremental growthMarketing Analytics & Performance InsightsLeverage marketing analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness across channels and the full funnelAnalyze KPIs including ROAS, TACoS, conversion rate, CPC, impression share, and incremental liftIdentify trends, opportunities, and risks across brands, categories, and platformsUse data to inform optimization strategies, budget allocation, and growth recommendationsBrand Partner Recaps & ReportingDevelop clear, concise campaign recaps for brand partners on a recurring basisTranslate complex performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendationsSupport brand-facing conversations with performance reviews, testing results, and forward-looking plansPartner with internal teams to ensure alignment between advertising strategy and brand objectivesTools, Testing & OptimizationLeverage best-in-class ecommerce and advertising tools to drive insights-based decision-makingConduct ongoing testing across keywords, creatives, audiences, and media formatsStay current on platform updates, new ad products, and emerging best practicesRequired Skills & Experience4–7+ years of experience in ecommerce advertising, digital marketing, or performance marketingDeep hands-on experience with PPC and retail media networksStrong marketing analytics and data interpretation skillsExperience presenting performance insights to internal stakeholders and external partnersAbility to balance growth objectives with margin and profitability goalsPreferred Platforms & ToolsExperience with some or all of the following:Retail Media & PPC: Amazon Ads, Amazon DSP, Amazon AMC, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, FacebookAnalytics & Insight Tools: Pacvue (or other ad software), Citrus, Criteo, Helium 10, SmartScout, Google AnalyticsMarketing & Performance Analytics: Platform-native reporting, BI tools, and attribution frameworksCollaboration & Reporting: Dashboards, performance recaps, and executive-ready summaries
