Apply via Dice today!Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS/Azure applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analyticsParticipate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS/Azure solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assuranceTroubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measuresEducate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as requiredEmploy exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivityRequired Skills And QualificationsBachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics5+ years experience in developing software using languages such as Java scripts, Python, BASH, Terraform, AnsibleProven experience in CICD, Pipelines, GitHub/JenkinsHands-on experience on managing Microservices environment like Kubernetes clusters( EKS or AKS) , ECS, Serverless lambda etc.Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services, preferably AWS.Experience working with AWS, Linux/UNIX, Docker and Microsoft Azure.Three to five years experience in a Cloud Engineer role or related position.Knowledge of web services, API, REST and RPC.Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks. Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworksExperience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analyticsPreferred QualificationsAWS/Azure certifications are a plusKnowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC
