Cloud Engineer (Multi-Cloud / DevOps / Integration) - Contract to Hire 5 days onsite required in Dallas, TXOverview A growing enterprise organization is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to support and evolve its multi-cloud and SaaS ecosystem. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud platforms while driving automation, DevOps maturity, and system integration across the business.Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and other SaaS platformsAdminister and support Salesforce environments (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud) including access, releases, and performanceSupport and manage integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft or similar ESB) with focus on API lifecycle and system connectivityBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) for automated deployments and release managementMonitor system performance, reliability, and security across cloud and SaaS environmentsTroubleshoot infrastructure, integration, and deployment issues in production environmentsPartner with SRE and engineering teams on monitoring, alerting, and observability (dashboards/metrics)Implement DevOps best practices (branching, testing, artifact management, environment promotion)Support incident response and change management processesCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagramsRequired Experience 7+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles (or equivalent experience)Strong experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform administration/supportExperience with integration platforms (MuleSoft or similar) and API-driven architecturesSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation (GitHub Actions preferred)Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)Knowledge of API security and authentication (OAuth, SAML, JWT)Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.)Strong understanding of cloud security (IAM, RBAC, least privilege, encryption)Nice to Have Experience in hybrid cloud / enterprise environmentsExposure to SRE practices and observability frameworksExperience supporting large-scale enterprise integrationsWhat You'll Bring Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and business teamsExcellent communication and documentation skillsSelf-starter mindset with attention to detail
