Senior Python Developer

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable applications leveraging Python, Flask, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular and React. As a senior member of the team, you will drive the development of cloud-native services within the Microsoft Azure environment. You will collaborate closely with architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, high-performance solutions while utilizing AI-assisted development tools to stay at the cutting edge of efficiency. Key Responsibilities Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Python/Flask for the backend and Angular/React for the frontend. Cloud Architecture: Develop and integrate solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, and serverless components. AI-Assisted Coding: Utilize tools like Claude and other AI assistants to enhance coding efficiency, solution design, and documentation. Infrastructure as Code: Leverage Terraform to manage and provision cloud infrastructure (preferred). Full SDLC Management: Lead all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis and design to testing and production support. API & Integration: Build and maintain robust APIs and integrations with internal and external systems. Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry best practices. DevOps & CI/CD: Support deployment processes and release management within Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD pipelines. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Qualifications & Skills Strong proficiency in Python and Flask frameworks. FrontendProven experience with Angular and React.CloudHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, etc.). IaCKnowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management is highly preferred. Tools Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude).
