Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valuedAnticipate and meet the needs and expectations of our guests, then go one step furtherCollect food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparationOperate food production equipment according to manufacturer's instructionsCarefully follow standard recipes while preparing assigned items for banquet serviceNotify the Kitchen Manager of expected shortages and excessesEnsure that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitaryAssist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining security and safety in the kitchenSet up, maintain, and break down prep cook stationsRequisition items needed to produce menu itemsAdhere to local health and safety regulationsMaintain any logs required by the health departmentMaintain the highest sanitary standardsAssist in plating food items for serviceHandle leftover food items as instructed by the Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen ManagerReturn soiled food preparation utensils and small ware items to the proper areasClean banquet preparation/serving equipmentClean assigned work station areasConsistently use safe and sanitary food handling practicesClean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasksFollow all 6PM Hospitality processes and Hilton standardsExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements:Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions.
