This role partners closely with hotel leadership to support organizational goals while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in driving associate engagement, retention, and operational effectiveness through strong people strategies and hands-on leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with overall business and operational objectivesLead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation processes for all hotel departmentsOversee employee relations, performance management, and associate engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsAdminister payroll, compensation, and benefits programsDesign and support training and development programs to meet current and future business needsServe as an advisor to department leaders on HR-related matters, policies, and best practicesMonitor key HR metrics and provide reporting and decision support to leadershipPromote consistent application of policies, procedures, and organizational standardsSupport associate recognition, communication, and engagement initiativesAdditional ResponsibilitiesMaintain established HR procedures, documentation, and audit readinessRespond to associate questions and concerns in a timely, professional mannerSupport internal communication efforts, postings, and employee information resourcesMaintain a professional, service-oriented approach in all interactions with associates and guestsAdhere to workplace standards related to attendance, appearance, safety, and conductQualificationsPrevious experience in a hospitality or service-driven environment strongly preferredWorking knowledge of hotel operations and workforce dynamicsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support diverse teamsStrong organizational, time management, and delegation abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skills across multiple audiencesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferredMinimum 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, or prior experience in a senior HR leadership roleEquivalent combinations of education and experience will be consideredSpanish fluency or conversational ability preferred but not requiredCertificationsProfessional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to move throughout the property to support operations and associatesMust be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds as neededOccasional bending, kneeling, or reaching for inspections or operational supportEqual Opportunity & Accommodations StatementQualified individuals with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodation to perform the essential functions of this role.Interested in hearing more?
