Apply Now!Your OpportunityThe Veterinarian Research Intern is responsible for leading a veterinary intern research project.Core ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow company animal welfare, husbandry, and biosecurity requirements Strong desire to learn and apply research techniques Work closely with others on day-to-day tasks Strong time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Design, manage, implement, and summarize a research project with live animal work - Collect and record data for live animal tasks Participate in all research projects, training sessions, and meetingsAssist with all clinical, hands-on live animal workPrepare an abstract and poster or oral presentation for the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV) Student Seminar competition and attend the annual conference if selected to competeThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
