Rotating schedules will also be required for Friday evenings and Saturdays. They will calibrate virtual reality experiences for students and guests, calibrate our virtual reality (VR) equipment and system, and quality-test virtual reality (VR) experiences.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Carry out daily operations in the Dreamscape Learn (DSL) spaces and ensure impactful VR experiences for students and guestsProvide extended periods of focused attention on time-sensitive tasksGuide participants through virtual reality experiences from beginning to endAssist students and guests with putting on and taking off VR gear, giving directions in a clear and friendly mannerProvide excellent customer service to participants to ensure a positive experienceAssist in troubleshooting VR equipmentAssist Dreamscape Learn staff with special operations and research projectsIdentify when issues need escalation, and report issues appropriately and in a timely mannerPerform regular testing and maintenance of all virtual reality pods and equipmentClean and reset all VR pod equipment between usesAssist participants with checking-in for scheduled VR eventsObserve and operate events on the Dreamscape Learn scheduleEnsure appropriate opening and closing procedures in the Dreamscape Learn facilityEnsure health and safety guidelines are followed to school standardsEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent (some post-secondary education in technology, education, or related field preferred)User experience with VR technologiesCustomer service experiencePhysical RequirementsNormal physical job functions performed in a standard office environment.
