Lead Carpenter

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated Carpenter to join our construction team. We are a new business specializing in framing and general carpentry. we are growing and looking to hire someone who is willing to grow along with us. Part time position, but there is opportunity for a full time position, pay increases and possible advancement in the future. Responsibilities Communicate with general contractors for materials, supplies, and scope of work Measure, cut, assemble, and install a variety of building components using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, building plans Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Skills Must have valid drivers license and work authorization Must have at least 3 years of experience in framing or general carpentry must have basic knowledge of residential construction framing and carpentry Willingness to learn Must have proficiency with hand tools (hammer, tape measure) power tools (drills, saws), and construction equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Must have reliable transportation Must have working English Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule On-the-job training Tools provided Work Location: In person
