Job Title: SAP R2R Lead ConsultantLocation: Irving, TX (Hybrid)Duration: 6-12 MonthsImportantVisa- Green Card Holders or US Citizens Only.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Finance (R2R) Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in SAP Finance to lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream in a large-scale global S/4HANA transformation initiative.The role demands strong leadership in financial process transformation, global template standardization, and S/4HANA Finance solution architecture, ensuring alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and SAP best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Transformation:Lead the R2R workstream in S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield/Brownfield/Selective Data Transition)Define and drive global finance transformation strategy, including process standardization and harmonizationOwn the global template design for R2R processes across regionsPartner with Finance leadership to align business vision with S/4HANA capabilitiesSolution Architecture & DesignOwn end-to-end S/4HANA Finance solution design for:General Ledger (GL) with Universal Journal (ACDOCA)Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting (AA)Cost Center Accounting & Profit Center AccountingInternal Orders and Product Costing (if applicable)Design chart of accounts harmonization, parallel accounting, and group reporting structuresLead fit-gap workshops, blueprinting, and solution design sessionsEnsure adoption of S/4HANA standard best practices and simplificationsGlobal Template & RolloutsDefine and govern global finance template, ensuring consistency across countriesLead multi-country rollouts, including localization for tax, statutory, and compliance requirementsOversee cutover planning, financial data migration, and go-live strategySupport hypercare and stabilization phasesData Migration & IntegrationDefine and oversee finance data migration strategy (GL balances, open items, assets, CO data)Collaborate with data teams to ensure data quality, reconciliation, and validationDesign Integrations WithMM (Procure-to-Pay)SD (Order-to-Cash)EWM, TM, and external systemsManage interfaces, middleware, and financial reporting systemsClose Process & ReportingLead design and optimization of:Financial closing processes (month-end/year-end)Intercompany accounting and reconciliationGroup reporting and consolidationDrive Adoption OfS/4HANA Fiori apps for financeEmbedded analytics and real-time reportingTesting & Quality GovernanceDefine and govern testing strategy (SIT, UAT, regression)Ensure financial accuracy, audit compliance, and control effectivenessIdentify and mitigate risks related to financial processes and complianceRequired Skills & Experience10+ years of SAP Finance (FICO) experience, with strong focus on R2R processes.Proven leadership in S/4HANA Finance transformation programs.Experience in global template design and multi-country deployments.Strong exposure to financial closing, reporting, and compliance processes.Deep Expertise InGeneral Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting.Universal Journal (ACDOCA).Parallel accounting (IFRS, Local GAAP).Intercompany reconciliation & group reporting.Strong understanding of integration with MM, SD, and controlling modules.Knowledge OfCentral Finance/Group Reporting (preferred).Fiori apps and embedded analytics.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA preferred).SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification (strongly preferred).Regards,Himanshu Rawathimanshu@carmansg.com
