Maintenance Supervisor - Enterprise YMCA

OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean and well-functioning environment both inside and outside the YMCA. In addition, every position in the YMCA of Greater Montgomery is responsible for upholding our mission by modeling behaviors that exemplify caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.Essential Functionsinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to ensure that all necessary repairs or improvements are completed in a timely fashion.Maintain all YMCA vehicles assigned to the branch according to specified guidelines.Hire, train, and supervise all maintenance and cleaning staff.Maintain all appropriate records for the maintenance department, including reporting to Executive Director and/or Metro staff as required and/or necessary.Coordinate with outside/third party vendors or contractors as needed.Prepare and manage departmental budget within specified guidelines.Plan and implement an annual schedule for preventive and regular maintenance of all YMCA property at or assigned to the branch.Act as first responder for any Branch facility emergency.Education and/or ExperienceAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, TrainingsCurrent CPR/First Aid and AED or within 30 days of hireYMCA Risk Management TrainingsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
