If you are a Loan Officer with Realtor or Construction relationships (or the drive to build them) and want the autonomy to scale your business from 2–4+ loans per month, this is the platform to make it happen.Primary Responsibilities/DutiesEstablishes and maintains relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders and new home sales representatives in order to develop and retain existing business; Meets with applicants/borrowers and acts as a mortgage loan advisor in order to determine the best loan product to accomplish the desired outcome for the particular situation in accordance with Bank Loan Policy.Obtains necessary applicant/borrower information to accurately complete a loan application and maintains strict confidentiality with the information received.Complies with and provides all disclosures applicable to residential mortgage lending rules, regulations and guidelines to the applicant/borrower within the timeframes required by regulation or law.Collects and retains required documentation and information necessary for processing and approval of the mortgage loan request.Maintains appropriate communication with applicant/borrower throughout the loan application process to assure loan timely approval and closing.Attends necessary training required to maintain and assure a high level of knowledge in the mortgage loan industry and to maintain any necessary certifications.Performs all duties with the utmost integrity, honesty, confidentiality and superior level of respect for the applicant/borrower.Other duties deemed necessary in order to deliver excellent customer service and a high quality delivery of products to both the applicant/borrower and other Bank staff.Must-Have QualificationsActive NMLS license (PREFERRED) and ability to originate mortgage loans in TexasProven relationship-based production (not call center or order-taking model)Demonstrated ability to self-generate business through Realtor and/or builder partnershipsMinimum 6 months experience in the mortgage industryMust have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a team environment.Must be proficient with computers, with basic to Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.Must be adaptable to the changes in the mortgage market.Must be a self-starter.High school graduate required and some college preferred.What You’ll Have Access ToRetail bank mortgage environment with in-house processing, underwriting, and closingAccess to marketing collateral and networking budgetFull product suite including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, HELOC, and Construction loansNo reverse mortgages and no brokering — all loans handled in-houseCompetitive inbound leads available, but primary expectation is self-sourced businessThis Role is a Good Fit If You:Have an existing book of Realtor or Construction referral relationships in North Texas—or are actively building oneAre currently producing and want to grow your loan volumePrefer a relationship-driven environment over a call center modelAre comfortable working in a commission-driven roleHave strong pipeline management and organizational skillsHave experience with construction or jumbo loan products (preferred)Additional info: fully onsite Frisco relationship-driven retail mortgage environment MUST self-generate business realtor/builder relationships required NO call center/order taker profiles NO remote seekers Hiring manager checks production history on NMLS websiteopen to mid-level/moldable candidates if they have right mindset/personality
