Construction Administrative Assistant
Position Overview:BDI Marine Contractors is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant to support our growing team. This role is essential in keeping daily operations organized, assisting with project documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between the office and field teams.Key Responsibilities:Assist with preparation and organization of bid packages and proposalsMaintain project files, contracts, and documentationEnter and track invoices, purchase orders, and job costsCoordinate with project managers, estimators, and field staffManage emails, phone calls, and general office correspondenceSupport scheduling of meetings, jobs, and subcontractorsAssist with compliance documents, permits, and insurance trackingUtilize construction software (experience with DemandStar is a plus)Qualifications:1–3 years of administrative experience (construction industry preferred)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent communication and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExperience with construction bidding platforms (DemandStar, etc.) is a plusWhy Join Us?Opportunity to grow within a reputable construction companySupportive team environmentHands-on experience in the construction industryCompetitive pay based on experience
