The RN is responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and coordination of care in a fast-paced observation unit.Job duties:/t- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to dysrhythmias appropriately/t- Provide direct patient care including medication administration and IV therapy/t- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs/t- Perform blood draws and administer blood products as needed/t- Assist in cardiac monitoring and emergency response situations including code teams/t- Provide care for patients with cardiac, renal, neurological, and respiratory conditions/t- Manage oxygen therapy including nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, and HFNC/t- Perform wound care and maintain infection control protocols/t- Assist with peritoneal dialysis processes including clamping/unclamping and documentation/t- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesRequirements:Licensure:Active MD RN License or Compact LicenseExperience:Minimum 2 years (1 year accepted for strong candidates)Certifications:BLS, ACLS, CPI (NIHSS preferred)Other requirement:Telemetry experience, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, ability to float, strong clinical and communication skillsUnit Details:Unit: 3 MultiSpecialty CarePatient Ratios: 1:5-6Patient Population: Adults, GeriatricsPatient Diagnoses: Chest pain, abdominal pain, UTI, renal conditions (peritoneal dialysis), trauma/orthopedic casesNumber of Beds: 30Daily Census: 28Vaccine Policy:COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)Local Radius Rule:Candidates must reside 50 miles or more from the facilityHonorVet Technologies Job ID #32094950.
