Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled.Job DescriptionThe Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will work in a fast-paced and high-volume general emergency department, providing care to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. This role requires strong nursing skills and the ability to manage complex multi-diagnosis cases effectively.Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency department setting. Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans. Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies. Perform emergency procedures as necessary, including intubation and central line management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain patient safety and comfort during all procedures. Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have at least 2 years of ER nursing experience. Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI (to be completed on-site during onboarding).
