Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with an active NJ license and ARRT certification for a hospital Radiation Oncology department, with strong preference for IMRT, SBRT, and CBCT experience.Job Details• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department setting,• Day shift schedule, 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday,• 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day,• 13-week contract,• Performs treatments using IMRT, 3D, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT modalities,• IGRT delivery including CT on rails,• CT simulation including respiratory gating, ACQ sim, and SBRT simulation,• Uses MOSAIQ for treatment management and EPIC for charting,• EPIC charting experience required,• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required,• No on-call required,Job Requirements• Active NJ Radiation Therapist license required if applicable,• Current ARRT certification required,• Successful completion of an approved Radiation Therapy program,• Experience with IMRT, 3D, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT strongly preferred,• Experience with MOSAIQ treatment management system,• Two professional references required for consideration,Additional Information• Delivers planned radiation therapy treatments with minimal supervision, maintaining visual and audible communication with patients throughout,• Performs daily and monthly linac and CT QA, portal imaging, and IGRT shift tracking documentation in MOSAIQ,• CT simulates patients per department and site-specific protocols, including construction of immobilization devices, electron and cerrobend blocks, and use of IV contrast when needed,• Maintains and verifies all treatment management elements in MOSAIQ including treatment calendars, prescriptions, DRRs, and portal imaging,• Attends weekly chart rounds and verifies physics and physician treatment planning parameters,• Adheres to ALARA radiation protection principles and all department safety and dress code policies,• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered,
