About the Role Are you a highly analytical data expert who enjoys digging into data to pinpoint trends? Reporting to Director - Data Analytics within the Transformation organization, join Telarus as a Data Reporting Analyst to translate financial and operational results into actionable recommendations to Telarus leadership as our company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data aggregation, analysis, and reporting. This role will be responsible for generating insightful reports and analyses to support decision making processes within the organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial and operational reporting, while also providing valuable insights to drive business growth. Responsibilities: Partner with key stakeholders to develop and maintain robust reporting to track financial and operational performance metrics as well as key performance indicators. Serve as a liaison between business operations and the various stakeholder organizations, analyzing, reporting, and interpreting data to assist with informed decision making. Investigate the underlying drivers for the company’s performance and interact with management on a regular basis to deliver updates to assist leadership. Analyze organizational data to identify trends, develop forecasts, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Access data from a variety of systems and present accurate, meaningful, and relevant information to diverse audiences. Compile, analyze, interpret and present complex data to propose new strategies for current and future business improvement. Create ad-hoc reports and analyses in response to specific business needs or inquiries. Gather business requirements, identify data needs, develop reporting automation, and share results for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational analysis. Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting tools and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for organizational leadership. Assess trends and develop actionable insights based on an analysis of external market dynamics and other data sources. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. MBA, CFA, CPA) is a plus. 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and data modeling. Strong background in SQL, including data modeling and querying to support reporting needs Prior experience in the Telecommunications or Software industry, understanding of Channel business model a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial reporting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience using data analysis tools and techniques within a finance or operations environment is preferred; Ability to work independently in a collaborative, dynamic team environment. High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving mindset and solution-enabler; ability to identify problems, make decisions and drive innovative solutions.
