Traveling Project Engineer
Job DescriptionTHIS POSITION IS IN TEMPE, ARIZONAWe are currently looking for a Traveling Project Engineer to join a well-established heavy and highway contractor. This role supports the construction project management team by handling project administration, data management, and communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Responsibilities:Assist in project startup, including permitting, file setup, budget preparation, compliance, and job site coordinationSupport the bid process by preparing pre-qualification applications and tracking bidsManage subcontractor documentation, including job costing, compliance, change orders, and payment applicationsAssist in procurement, data entry, and job costing for purchasesSupport billing by coding pay estimates and tracking project expensesMaintain electronic files, project plans, submittals, and ongoing correspondenceAssist with change orders, inspections, and overall project administrationSupport project closeout activities and final documentationQualifications:1-3 years of experience in administration, accounting, or engineering, preferably on large-scale construction projectsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredExperience with billing, document control, and purchasing processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyProficiency in office software and construction management toolsApply Today !!!
