We hope you will decide to join our family of dedicated employees.Job purposeThe Warehouse Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general preventive maintenance in the warehouse and office, safety and warehouse compliance reporting, minor repairs and oversees ground keeping, may also be required to perform product handler and forklift operator duties; promote and implement the company's core values and excellence in customer service; responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms general maintenance and inspection on equipment for warehouse such as forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, safety harnesses, etc.Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs on a variety of building systems and appliances, including, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, appliance repair and electrical.Apply proficient skills in two or more of the following trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, appliance repair, etc. to ensure quality maintained facilities and equipment.Subject to on-call coverage shift changes and emergency 12-hour shiftsParticipate in routine inspections (including QC, move in, preventative maintenance, machinery, etc.).Perform general maintenance and cleaning of common areas, office areas, maintenance shop, warehouse etc.Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools, equipment and machinery.Comply with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environmentUnderstand and follow safe work practices for all trades, including but not limited to: Lockout Tag-out, Confined Space Entry, use of hazardous chemicals, use of Personal Protective Equipment, Ladder Safety, and working from Elevated Surfaces.Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart.Maintains a focus for self and team on continuous learning that will enhance skill sets and growth opportunities.Demonstrates a commitment to C&F Enterprises, Inc. core values.
