Quality Assurance Manager

UESI is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead, maintain, and continuously enhance our 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Quality Assurance Program in support of critical nuclear and industrial projects. Learn more at www.uesi.com.ResponsibilitiesLead, maintain, and continually improve UESI’s Quality Assurance (QA) ProgramEnsure compliance with nuclear regulatory, contractual, and applicable industry standardsReview purchase orders and contracts to identify and implement QA requirementsExercise stop‑work authority when necessary to protect quality and safetyPlan, conduct, and lead internal, vendor, and client auditsManage vendor qualification processes and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL)Represent UESI during external audits, surveillances, and QA oversight activitiesOversee training, qualification, and certification of QA personnelEnsure proper inspection, testing, documentation, and record‑keeping practicesManage corrective action programs, including NCRs, root‑cause analysis, and trend evaluationMaintain QA documentation, records, and audit schedulesQualificationsMinimum of 7 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience; QC experience in nuclear or other highly regulated environments consideredStrong working knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulatory requirementsDemonstrated experience planning, executing, and reporting auditsProven ability to manage and sustain formal QA programsWorking knowledge of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ANSI/ASME NQA‑1, and 10 CFR Part 21Experience with nuclear or industrial coatings systemsNQA‑1 Lead Auditor certification requiredASQ certification (CQA, CQE, CMQ/OE, or similar) preferred
