Inventory and Accounting Support Specialist

OverviewThe Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC), is a federally funded Special Purpose Government Agency, created to provide rent subsidies, and promote affordable housing for low-income persons residing in Salt Lake City. HASLC is the largest public housing authority in the state of Utah and the largest provider of Affordable Housing in the Salt Lake Valley. We currently assist over 10,000 individuals, who are seniors, persons with disabilities, children, previously homeless, and households with minimal income, a place to call home.General Purpose as an Inventory and Accounting Support SpecialistThe Inventory and Accounting Support Specialist fulfills and processes orders, accepts incoming shipments, and oversees the general organization of the warehouse for the Housing authority of Salt Lake City. This is a combined role which will also spend some of their time assisting the finance business unit with support-level accounting duties and tasks, while assisting staff with inventory needs. This position requires completing various tasks in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying items.
