Music Industry Mentor/Consultant (Primary Wave, ASCAP, BMI, etc.)

A recently accepted student into The Juilliard School online Songwriting program is seeking out a mentor with ties in the music industry. All levels of experience welcome (early, mid-career, senior, etc.)ResponsibilitiesProvide insight and introductions to those in the music industry. Give advice when needed and guidance on the many facets involved in the music industry. Occasional Zoom meetings are required with some brief phone calls in between Zoom sessions.Help student chart plan of action for success in the industry.QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of music industry publishing is a plus. Any past or current experience at the major companies is highly preferred (Primary Wave, ASCAP, BMI, etc.).Additional Info:Compensation will be modest but timely.Start date: Late May/Early June 2026
