Intern will be expected to learn and develop project management and analytical skills associated with category sourcing and will learn additional accountabilities of the Procurement departments support globally for IAA. Intern will contribute and assist in leading sourcing activities such as working with stakeholders and suppliers on projects conducted by Procurement department initiatives.ResponsibilitiesThroughout the Internship, student will receive a high-level overview and training in the following areas: 6 Step Strategic Sourcing ProcessSupplier management and negotiation trainingVendor Program Management and related policiesVendor ComplianceProcure-to-Pay System, including purchase order catalog programsProject Management Business analytics and spend analysisCategory Management OverviewContract Management Program Qualifications Higher education student (36-24 credit hours from graduation) with a concentration in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Business Management, Procurement, or related area preferredStrong analysis, presentation, writing, and communication skillsMust be highly motivated and passionate about providing high-quality customer serviceMinimal Experience in Microsoft Excel
