Legal Administrative Assistant

A NYC law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and trial support for litigation Partners of the firm.Candidates must have 5 years of experience working in a law firm supporting multiple attorneys. TResponsibilities:Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, memos, and other documentsPrepare labels for packages and coordinate courier/messenger deliveriesArrange travel arrangements/accommodations as required and create detailed travel itineraries for assigned attorneysOrder catering for meetings as necessaryProcess and track client invoicesSubmit attorney expenses for reimbursementProofread and enter time entries in the timekeeping system for assigned attorneysProofread and edit client bills monthlyMaintain attorneys calendars by arranging and/or adjusting meetings, and providing reminders as necessaryManage business contactsPerform other administrative duties such as printing, copying, scanning, and filing documentsAssist with planning and executing internal and external eventsAssist with special projectsRequirements:Bachelors degree required5 - 7 years of experience supporting litigation attorneysProficient in Microsoft Outlook suiteExcellent organizational skills; strong attention to detailAbility to work well independently, as well as effectively within a team
