MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Stress Analyst. Required Skills:Familiarity with FAA (Part 23 or 25) or military aircraft airworthiness design approach, certification process, and requirementsAble to generate free body diagrams and calculate internal loads and stressesDesired Skills:Finite element modeling with commercial software, Siemans FEMAP or PATRAN / NASTRANAutomating calculations using VBA in Excel or another programming languageReviewing engineering design data with CAD and PLM software, including NX and TeamcenterStructural substantiation of aircraft structure with classical analysisResults-oriented, empowering leader with direct experience exceling in a matrixed environmentExperience analyzing composite structureExperience in MatLab a plus.Experience with FAA and/or Military certification requirements.Degree Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or other related engineering field with four (4-10+) years aircraft stress analysis experience or a Masters Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or other related engineering field with two (2) years aircraft stress analysis experience
