Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.Duties and ResponsibilitiesImplement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Occupational TherapistGuide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activitiesProvide training in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and toiletingInstruct patients in the safe and effective use of assistive and adaptive equipmentSupport motor, cognitive, and fine motor skill developmentMonitor patient progress and adjust activities within established treatment plansDocument therapy sessions accurately and communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising OTAssist patients across the lifespan maintaining or improving independence at home, school, work, or in the communityKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other QualificationsLicensure: Associate degree from ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programClinical Fieldwork hoursPassing of NBCOTState licensure/certificationCE for CertificationCertifications: BLS (AHA preferred or client specific)Immunizations: Based on client needExperience required: Based on client needSchedule: Based on client needTribal Health Benefits:Competitive PayMedical, Dental and Vision benefits401KPaid Time off and 11 Federal HolidaysStudent Loan Repayment Assistance100% Company paid tuition to further your educationOther voluntary benefits; Disability, Critical illness and moreNative American Preference: Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Native American candidates in accordance with federal law (Title 25, USC Section 472).
