School Director of Facilities

Director of FacilitiesLocation: Responsible for 2 locations – Bronx and Manhattan, NY.Pay: USD $100,000 – $120,000 per year.Campus Services Group (CSG) invites you to serve as School Director of Facilities. In this leadership role you will oversee campus and facility operations, including facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management for our day school. You will manage a team, coordinate with external contractors, and ensure the campus is clean, safe, and well-maintained. If you have experience in facilities management and a commitment to creating a well-functioning learning environment, we would love to have you on our team.ResponsibilitiesOversee campus facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management.Manage a team of staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring performance, training, and development.Ensure clear communication on facilities, construction, and safety projects within the school community.Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, review invoices, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.Conduct inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to standards.Manage sustainability initiatives and collaborate with school departments on on-campus events.Oversee CMMS to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities, or Construction Management (preferred).5+ years of experience in facility/building/property management or construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role (educational setting experience preferred).Expertise in at least two technical trades (plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, roofing, HVAC, or other building trades).Basic computer skills (preferred).Strong leadership and communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required.Ability to interact positively with staff, clients and the public.Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.What We OfferComprehensive benefits package – medical, dental, vision.Free telemedicine services* on Day 1.Paid holidays & vacation.401(k) plan.Payment flexibility with PNC EarnedIt.Financial wellness support from PNC Workplace Banking.Free prescription discount program.Employee assistance programs.Training & development opportunities.Employee recognition programs.Employee stock purchase plan.Ready to join us?
