DevOps Engineer

Overview In this role you will manage infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure reliable, scalable systems. You will partner with developers and IT staff to oversee releases and optimize CI/CD practices. You’ll apply DevOps principles across software engineering and operations to improve efficiency and reliability at scale. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development processCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releasesMonitor system performance, identify issues, and optimize reliability and scalabilityDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)Ensure security best practices are integrated into DevOps processesConduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measuresAutomate routine tasks to improve operational efficiencyManage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and optimize resource usageMaintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and deployment processesParticipate in on-call rotation for 24/7 production support Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven DevOps experienceExperience with Git version controlExperience with microservices architectureExperience with Agile methodologies and project management toolsHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)Knowledge of security best practices and toolsFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Understanding of networking concepts and protocolsProficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasksproblem-solvingcommunicationcollaborationTerraformAnsibleDocker
