Senior Project Manager / Vice President - Civil Engineering Division Lead (Texas P.E. Licensed)
Job Summary: Looking for a Senior Project Manager (PM) or a candidate open to a Vice President (VP) level position to run the division. If coming in at the VP level, there will be additional business development responsibilities and a larger bonus. The bonus will be discussed directly with candidates and will be based on specific benchmarks that will be defined and agreed upon.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of Civil Engineers, EITs, designers, and CAD draftsmen, providing technical guidance, QA/QC oversight, and design feedback.Oversee daily operations, deliverables, and project schedules for various land development projects (residential, industrial, commercial, etc.).Utilize advanced engineering principles and practices to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.Plan, coordinate, and direct large and complex engineering projects, managing scope, budget, and timelines.Oversee industrial development projects (primarily 5 to 50 acres, with occasional projects exceeding 100 acres).Define project scope, including budget, design criteria, and schedule.Contribute to proposal development and client management activities.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.Minimum of 10 years of experience in land/site development engineering (public and private).Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Proven experience managing teams and mentoring junior engineers.Strong understanding of land development processes, regulations, and best practices.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Experience with projects ranging from 5 to 100+ acres.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial project development.
