Manufacturing Planner
Manufacturing Planner â Full-Time El Segundo, CA Overview: Responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and planning step-by-step manufacturing instructions to support product realization and contract requirements. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, manufacturing parameters, and documentation (drawings, sketches, manuals) Develop detailed manufacturing planning and process instruction sheets Coordinate with: Programming Manager (machining sequence, fixturing) Engineering Technician (sketches, plating allowances) Quality Manager (inspection tools/equipment) Assembly Department (tooling requirements) Review and approve vendor data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met Communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies in drawings, models, or purchase orders Collaborate with Manufacturing Manager, planners, production, inspectors, and programmers to resolve process issues Review, interpret, and implement engineering changes Qualifications: Strong knowledge of machine shop equipment: mills, lathes, grinders, saws, CMM, deburring equipment, measuring tools, optical comparator, profilometer Ability to read/write English and communicate effectively (written & verbal) Team-oriented, professional, and non-confrontational Strong understanding of work instructions, blueprints, GD&T, drawings, and specifications Computer literate (Microsoft preferred) Adheres to company policies Education & Experience: 10â15 years related experience or equivalent combination of education/training High School Diploma or equivalent required KPG123
