With a team of over fifty professionals, the company is guided by a strong commitment to people, partnerships, and the planet.Role OverviewOur client is seeking an FP&A Manager / Director to join its finance team during a critical phase of organizational build-out. This role is designed to build and formalize the company’s FP&A function as it scales a growing portfolio of utility-scale BESS projects. The FP&A Manager / Director will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, while developing the systems, reporting frameworks, and analytical capabilities needed to support a rapidly expanding platform. The position offers a unique opportunity to step into a high impact role with direct exposure to senior leadership, and a clear path to grow into a broader finance leadership position over time.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead all core FP&A processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planningBuild and maintain corporate financial models, including forecasting across a growing pipeline of BESS projectsPartner closely with the CFO to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and business decision-makingDevelop and implement scalable FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and financial toolsAnalyze financial and operational performance, providing insights to senior leadershipCollaborate cross functionally with project finance, development, accounting, and executive teams to ensure alignment across financial plans and project executionSupport preparation of board and investor materials, including financial reporting and performance updatesTrack key business drivers, including project timelines, capital deployment, and operating performanceAssist in evaluating project development and investment opportunities, including scenario analysis and return modelingEstablish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility into business performanceSupport liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and corporate finance initiativesContribute to building a scalable FP&A function to support continued growthQualifications5–10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related rolesPrior experience in renewable energy, energy storage, or infrastructure requiredStrong financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience building and maintaining modelsExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processesAbility to operate effectively in a lean, high-growth environment with significant ownershipStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholdersBackground in investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance is a plusBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldLegally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorshipAbility to work in the office in Miami 4 days a weekAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills requiredWhy JoinBuild and own the FP&A function during a critical growth phaseWork directly with senior leadership, including the CFOHigh visibility role with influence on strategic and financial decision-makingExposure to a rapidly scaling energy storage platformClear path for growth as the finance organization continues to expand
