Locum Tenens Opportunity: Physician - Family Medicine with Obstetrics Profession: Physician Specialty: Family Medicine - Obstetrics Position Details: Default Rate Type: Hourly Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: 24-Hour Shift(s) Description: 4 - 10 hour shifts in clinic per week OB/pediatric on-call 1:4 hospital coverage Overview: We are seeking a Family Medicine Provider with OB experience to work in our clinic and hospital as an employed physician. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated provider to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community, with a focus on obstetrics and general family medicine. Details: Start Date: ASAP - ongoing Schedule: 1-2 weeks of Hospital OB Call each month and 4-8 days in the Clinic for General GYN patients (consecutive) Shift Type: 4 - 10 hour shift in clinic per week and OB/pediatric on-call. 1:4 hospital coverage. Inpatient and outpatient coverage Provider will take pediatric and OB call concurrently if FP/OB Must be qualified to handle c-sections Clinic-based provider with 0-1 hospital admission per day Patients per day: Approximately 15-17 patients in the clinic Types of cases: Variety of Family Practice and OB cases Number of deliveries: 94 a year, approximately 40 c-sections/year NICU level: None on-site, 50 minutes away in Redding (LVL 3) EMR: Cerner Support staff: Supervisor, MA, clerks Reason for need: Replacement Patient Type: Female, all adult ages, pregnancies, well women, GYN problems Volume of deliveries: 10-15 a month Requirements: Board Certified Family Medicine or Board Eligible FM, Active CA license, OB Fellowship, Active ACLS, DEA, PALS (for peds call), Must state availability (# of shifts per month) at time of name clear, Must be qualified to handle c-sections, Clean malpractice/Background, Local, no flights (Highly Preferred), Disclosure if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity Facility, COVID Vaccine required Provider Needed: 1 How to Apply: If you're a qualified Family Medicine Provider with OB experience interested in joining our team near LEWISTON, CA, apply now!
