Maintenance Engineer
The Maintenance Engineer position entails maintaining the physical environment (inside/outside) for assigned buildings, executing work orders, performing landscaping duties, and ensuring the building is clean and stocked with supplies.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance of electrical systems (replacing light bulbs, ballast, outlets, switches)Survey the building and repairs ensuring consistency with health and safety standards. Knowledge of EPA, OSHA and NEC regulations are a plus.Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionalityProvide preventative maintenance of HVAC systems (air handler coils cleaned, replace filters and belts)Conduct general upkeep (landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, appliances, drywall, windows, etc.) Perform manual repairs when necessary.Keeping the pool clean and up to safety standards.Reports any unsafe conditions to Chief Engineer.Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.Assists valet in resolving guest auto issues such as jump starts and flat tires.Assists Guests with internet connectivity issues.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum high school or GED required.Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred but not required.Weekend availabilityKnowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systemsStrong knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesMust possess a valid driver's licenseRegional travel required, occasionallyDeadline, detail and customer service-orientedAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.Free To Be, Inclusion & DiversityAs a purpose-led, performance-driven company, we strive to foster a culture of belonging based on respect, connection, openness, and authenticity.
