Job Title: Senior PHP Developer / Onsite CoordinatorWork Location: Amherst NYRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior PHP Developer / Onsite Coordinator to lead and manage on-site project activities while ensuring seamless collaboration with offshore teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities•Coordinate and manage on-site project activities between development teams, clients, and stakeholders.•Actively participate in requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.•Collaborate closely with offshore development teams to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables.•Ensure smooth integration and communication between on-site and offshore teams.•Take ownership of end-to-end PHP project lifecycle, including:oArchitecture designoDevelopmentoTestingoDeployment•Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues.•Lead and mentor team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.•Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and updates.Required Technical Skills•Strong proficiency in:oPHPoPower BIoObject-Oriented Programming (OOP)•Hands-on experience with front-end technologies:oHTMLoCSSoJavaScript•Strong knowledge of relational databases:oMySQLoPostgreSQL•Expertise in SQL optimization techniques.•Experience in:oDeveloping RESTful APIsoIntegrating third-party services•Familiarity with:oGit and version control systemsoDeployment and release processesGood to Have•Experience with PHP frameworks such as:oLaraveloCodeIgniteroSymfony (optional advantage)Soft SkillsLeadership•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with clients and teams.•Proven experience in:oLeading PHP development teamsoManaging on-site project delivery•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.•Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.Experience•10+ years of experience in PHP development (preferred).•Prior experience in onsite-offshore coordination model is a strong advantage.
