.Net Developer

Softthink Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented .Net Developer to join our team in Herndon, VA to support our client project. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrate broad expertise in .NET system and associated technologies, including C#, Web API, and Microsoft Azure. Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Azure services such as Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and more. Create and manage Azure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI or Azure PowerShell. Integrate Azure services with other tools and services, such as Visual Studio, GitHub, and DevOps. Build high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications using the Angular framework. Participate in Agile software development practices. Collaborate with other members of the development team to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and testing. Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and services. Stay up to date with new .NET frameworks, Azure services and features and evaluate their potential use in new or existing solutions. Provide guidance and best practices for other team members on using Azure services and features. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to best practices and standards. Collaborate with other teams, such as operations, security, and business teams to ensure that solutions are deployed and operated securely. Attend and contribute to Scrum meetings to discuss Product Backlog Items (PBIs). Assign tasks to junior developers, such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics, and provide mentorship and guidance as needed. At our company and at our client’s company, a .Net Developer requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
