Travel RN - Med/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LTAC/Telemetry night shift position in Little Rock, AR, requiring a minimum of 2 years of LTAC experience and active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.Job Details• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting,• LTAC/Telemetry unit serving patients requiring extended acute care,• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM,• Every other weekend required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active AR RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand,• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted),• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC experience required,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsible for shift accountability, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies,• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care,• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel,• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education,• Candidates who have previously worked at a Kindred Hospital facility in a permanent or travel capacity should be prepared to disclose facility name, dates worked, and reporting manager,• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate,
