Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist – IT to serve as a strategic partner to Technology and Business leaders. This role is responsible for leading complex sourcing initiatives across IT services and software, with a strong focus on commercial negotiations, category strategy development, and execution of high-value agreements.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IT sourcing, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. This role plays a critical part in driving cost optimization, operational efficiency, and business continuity across the organization’s technology portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for IT services and software, including sourcing strategy development, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract executionDevelop and execute category strategies aligned with technology roadmaps, business priorities, and cost optimization goalsConduct complex commercial negotiations involving:Systems Integrators (SI) and large-scale transformation programsManaged services and outcome-based delivery modelsEnterprise and mission-critical software agreementsStatements of Work (SOWs) with layered SLAs and service creditsPartner closely with IT and business stakeholders to support demand planning, forecasting, and sourcing decisionsLeverage market intelligence, benchmarking, and cost modeling to inform sourcing strategies and strengthen negotiation outcomesDrive contract value realization, including cost savings, performance tracking, and supplier accountabilitySupport Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiativesManage multiple concurrent sourcing initiatives in a high-visibility, deadline-driven environmentRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field7–10+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or category managementProven experience negotiating complex IT agreements, including enterprise software, managed services, and systems integratorsStrong expertise in developing and executing sourcing and category strategiesDemonstrated experience with SOWs, SLAs, pricing models, and commercial frameworksTrack record of delivering cost savings, efficiency improvements, and service continuityExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence and collaborate with senior leaders in a matrixed organizationPreferred QualificationsMBA or postgraduate degreeProfessional certifications such as CPSM, SCMP, or equivalentExperience supporting large-scale IT transformation initiativesWhat Success Looks LikeSuccessfully leads high-value sourcing initiatives from strategy through executionDelivers measurable cost savings and business valueBuilds strong partnerships with IT and business stakeholdersNegotiates contracts that balance cost, performance, and riskDrives continuous improvement in supplier performance and sourcing practicesWork EnvironmentOffice-based role with a collaborative, fast-paced environmentHigh visibility with multiple competing priorities and deadlines
