Sous Chef Salary:$85,000 Location:Miami, FloridaWe are hiring on behalf of a prestigious luxury property seeking a Sous Chef to support a high-performing culinary operation in a fast-paced, upscale environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for a culinary professional passionate about quality, teamwork, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities: Support daily kitchen operations in a high-volume scratch kitchen Supervise line staff and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation Assist with inventory management, ordering, and food cost control Partner with senior culinary leadership on service execution and menu standards Maintain sanitation, safety, and kitchen compliance standards Assist with training, coaching, and development of culinary team members Respond quickly to operational challenges during service periods Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of similar culinary leadership experience Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cost management Excellent communication and team leadership skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced, 24-hour hospitality environment Post-secondary culinary education preferred Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
