This role is fast-paced, dynamic, and imperative to the ongoing success of our Company.Production Supervisor Responsibilities:Plan a production schedule for the jobImplement and control the production scheduleReview and adjust the schedule where neededSupervise employees and material resources to meet production targetsMake input about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurementCreate and implement standard operating procedures for production operationsEnsure that employees adhere to standard operating proceduresEnsure that employees adhere to health and safety proceduresTeam with the Quality department to ensure quality standards are met, enforcing quality control, and tracking to meet quality objectives and standards of productAnalyze production and quality control to detect and correct problemsDetermine and implement improvements to the production processPrepare and maintain production reportsImplement cost control programsEnsure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, and managementProduction Supervisor Requirements:Bachelor's degree - business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology is preferredKnowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniquesKnowledge of raw materialsKnowledge of quality systems and standardsKnowledge of health and safety standards and complianceKnowledge of process improvement techniquesKnowledge of business, finance, and management principlesKnowledge of human resource principles and practicesKnowledge of machines and toolsKnowledge of engineering and technology principles and practicesWilling and able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employmentMust be a citizen of the United States.Production Supervisor Skills:In-depth computer knowledgeCritical thinking and problem-solvingPlanning and organizing with time management that is results-drivenAttention to detailStrong decision-making with communicationPersuasivenessInfluencing, leading, and adaptabilityStress toleranceTeamwork oriented
