At Axis Labs, we blend cutting-edge technology with intuitive design to deliver practical, reliable, and impactful tools.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Node.js), offered as remote or hybrid with optional in-person collaboration in Atherton, CA. As a ground-floor member of our engineering team, you’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across multiple Axis Labs products. Day-to-day tasks include back-end and front-end development (Node.js, React), collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and debugging code, and ensuring application stability and performance. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product direction and grow into a lead engineering role as the company scales.QualificationsStrong skills in software development and programmingExperience with back-end web development and object-oriented programming (OOP)Solid foundation in computer science principlesProficiency in Node.js and modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, startup team environmentBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field recommendedExperience with AI applications and tools is a plusCompensationThis is an early-stage startup role.
