Role: ForgeRock / Java DeveloperClient: JPMC / DeloitteLocation: 600 Travis Street, Houston, TX 77002Employment Type: W2 OnlyJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced ForgeRock / Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and AI/GenAI-enabled Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications, building RESTful microservices, deploying applications on AWS, and leveraging modern AI tools to improve software development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Develop scalable and highly available microservices and RESTful APIs.Work with ForgeRock identity and access management technologies to support enterprise authentication and authorization solutions.Integrate applications with identity, security, and access management platforms.Leverage AI/GenAI tools throughout the SDLC for code development, test generation, debugging, documentation, code review, refactoring, and optimization.Design and implement cloud-native applications using AWS services, including:Amazon EC2AWS LambdaAmazon API GatewayAmazon S3Amazon EKSContainerize applications using Docker and deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes.Develop secure and reliable REST APIs and integrate services across distributed systems.Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, technical design, development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and other project teams.Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and production issues.Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, retrospectives, and technical discussions.Apply secure coding, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability best practices.Create and maintain technical documentation, API documentation, deployment documentation, and operational runbooks.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE development.Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.Hands-on experience with ForgeRock or enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies.Practical experience using AI/GenAI tools within the SDLC for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code optimization.Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly:EC2LambdaAPI GatewayS3EKSExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, Agile/Scrum, and modern software engineering practices.Experience with application integration, distributed systems, and cloud-native development.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in financial services or banking environments.Experience working with JPMC or other large enterprise environments.Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.Experience developing automated unit, integration, and API tests.Knowledge of security best practices, authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SSO.Experience with cloud-native and distributed application architectures.Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
