A better future?Job DescriptionAs a member of the Program Management team, the Program Coordinator will support the execution of automotive electronics programs, including electronic control units (ECUs), power distribution modules, and other safety‑critical electronic systems.ResponsibilitiesYour work will include, but not be limited to:Support the Platform / Program Manager in strict adherence to the Lear Product and Manufacturing Process (LPMP) using the internal program development tracking system (LearPro)Support program tracking of LPMP deliverables across cross‑functional areas (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, purchasing, finance, etc.) to ensure visibility to risks impacting program timing and deliverablesCoordinate regularly scheduled Management Gateway Reviews (MGRs) to confirm compliance to program deliverables and approval to proceed to the next development phaseGenerate and publish program status reports, dashboards, and summaries for program and management reviewsWork with functional teams to ensure required electronics program deliverables (hardware, software, validation, manufacturing readiness, APQP) are completed and uploaded in LearPro on timePerform general automotive electronics program maintenance within LearPro, including schedules, deliverables, and documentationSupport Program Management and Engineering in managing prototype hardware, electronic components, and build materials for customer, validation, and internal buildsTrack and report key electronics program milestones (design reviews, prototype builds, validation testing, PPAP readiness) to program and functional leadershipYour Qualifications4‑year college degree (preferred) in Engineering, Business, or related field (May consider candidates nearing completion of a 4‑year degree)Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, technically complex, and team‑based environmentStrong organizational skills; detail‑oriented, task‑driven, accurate, and efficientProfessional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to create presentation materials and support presentations to upper management and customersProficiency with standard software tools (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project); familiarity with web‑based systems (Training on Lear internal systems will be provided)Schedule flexibility and ability to travel (limited duration; typically one week or less), if requiredSummer internship or co‑op experience in the automotive or electronics industry is a plusAbility to work effectively in cross‑functional teams, collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, sales, finance, and purchasingForward‑thinking individual with the ability to plan ahead, manage priorities, and deliver resultsBonus if You HaveExperience with automotive electronics, ECUs, power distribution modules, or electrical architecturesExposure to hardware and software development lifecycles (APQP, validation, PPAP)Familiarity with automotive customer requirements and launch milestonesExperience supporting prototype builds and pre‑production activities for electronic systemsEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
