Mechanical Assembler

*Role Overview:* This position is part of the production department supporting the assembly of *aircraft lighting components for Boeing 737 aircraft*. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on assembly experience, be comfortable using small hand tools, follow detailed instructions and procedures, and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires standing for the *entire 8-hour shift* and working to established production/takt-time requirements. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform *mechanical assembly* of raw materials and components. * Use various *hand tools*, including small tools and torque wrenches. * Perform quality control inspections. * Follow established work instructions, procedures, and method sheets. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics when required. * Work efficiently while meeting production/takt-time expectations. * Maintain a safe and organized work environment. *Required Qualifications:* * *High School Diploma or GED.* * *1–3 years of prior assembly experience.* * Hands-on experience using small hand tools; *torque wrench experience is a plus*. * Ability to *stand for the full duration of an 8-hour shift*. * Ability to lift up to *30 lbs.* * Ability to work overtime when needed. * Must be able to *speak and read English fluently*, as work instructions are provided in English. * Ability to follow instructions and procedures while working at a fast pace. *Additional Requirements:* * Safety glasses are required. * Closed-toe/closed shoes are required. * No shorts, skirts, ripped jeans, sagging pants, hats, or sunglasses while working.
