Mechanical Assembler
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform a variety of moderate to complex production and/or assembly operations
* Utilize diagrams, drawings, work orders, oral and/or written instructions to assemble products and sub-assemblies.
* Read, interpret and abide by shop processes.
* Knowledge of and understand in BMS, BAC and other types of aerospace specifications.
* Consistently produce high level of quality craftsmanship.
* Troubleshoot and problem solve based upon skill level
* Work with other department personnel to resolve issues/problems.
* Knowledge of and understand the use of: Tools and machines: screw drivers, drills, clamps, vices, knives, gauges, scales, temperature recorders, etc.
Materials: adhesives, laminates, fiberglass/resins, potting compound.
*Required Skills / Qualifications:*
Minimum 1 year of related experience
*Preferred Skills / Qualifications:*
* Position requires basic job-related courses or training in a non-technical or vocational field.
* Experience in any and/or all of the following areas: mechanical assembly, final assembly, seat assembly, bonding, aircraft interiors.
* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Job Types: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
