Assistant SuperintendentPosition Overview We are seeking a proactive Assistant Superintendent to support site operations on multi-family and commercial construction projects. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and project team to supervise field activities, enforce quality and safety standards, maintain schedule and budget controls, and coordinate subcontractors, vendors and trades to ensure timely, compliant delivery of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day site supervision and direct field crews to meet schedule and quality targetsEnforce quality control and quality assurance procedures; perform inspections and identify corrective actionsCoordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors and trades to optimize workflows and reduce downtimeAssist with project scheduling, update project timelines, and communicate schedule impacts to stakeholdersManage formwork, concrete works and structural framing activities to ensure compliance with plans and specificationsOversee MEP coordination on site, resolving clashes and ensuring installations proceed per sequence and drawingsMonitor equipment usage, staging and maintenance to maximize productivity and safetyPrepare and manage punch lists, track completion of deficiencies and verify corrective workCreate, review and route RFIs and submittals; follow up to ensure timely responses and approvalsProduce daily field reports, progress reporting and construction documentation to support project recordsSupport cost control efforts by tracking budgets, processing change orders and assisting with budget forecastingManage waste, site logistics and material deliveries to maintain an organized, safe and efficient siteEnsure compliance with OSHA requirements (OSHA 10/30) and company safety policies; participate in toolbox talks and safety inspectionsCollaborate with project management on permit coordination and inspections, and support quality auditsAssist with vendor/trade management and procurement coordination to maintain schedule and cost targetsQualificationsAssociate or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 37 years of field experience on multi-family and commercial construction projects; prior experience as Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, or Superintendent preferredProven experience with site supervision for formwork, concrete works, structural framing and MEP coordinationStrong knowledge of quality control/quality assurance processes, construction documentation, RFIs and submittalsFamiliarity with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera or similar) and construction management platforms (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam)Experience with cost control, budget tracking and processing change ordersOSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferredExcellent communication, leadership and subcontractor coordination skillsAbility to prepare daily field reports, progress reports and maintain accurate construction recordsValid drivers license and ability to travel between job sites as requiredBenefits Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k Bonus Relocation Telecommute Email Your Resume In Word ToGrant.Neag@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
