(No Recruiters)Kaminski Construction - Eugene, ORPay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experienceJob Type: Full-time, W-2Schedule: Monday-Friday, with overtime and occasional overnight travel as neededPosition SummaryKaminski Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee residential and commercial construction and renovation projects. This position requires strong carpentry skills, leadership experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate crews and communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with framing, interior and exterior renovations, job site supervision, and maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise on-site construction crewsPerform and oversee framing, renovation, and finish carpentry workEnsure projects are completed according to scope, schedule, and quality standardsCoordinate daily with Project Managers and subcontractorsVerify measurements, installations, and overall workmanshipMaintain a clean, organized, and safe job siteComplete daily progress updates, timesheets, and project documentationIdentify material, equipment, and tool needs for projectsCommunicate changes in scope or unexpected job site conditionsFollow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesProvide project photos and updates throughout project durationOperate tools and equipment safely and professionallyMaintain company vehicle cleanliness and organizationQualifications5+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferredExperience leading or supervising crews preferredValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredAbility to read measurements and follow construction plans and specificationsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsBasic computer and mobile app experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and work outdoors for extended periodsComfortable working in varying weather conditions and active construction environmentsBenefitsEmployer-matched contribution retirement planPTO (paid time off)Health InsurancePaid HolidaysHealth Reimbursement AccountGym MembershipAflac Supplemental Insurance (various plans)The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm (Hours may vary as they are subject to change as needed, but this is the standard day-to-day schedule).4 day work weeks.About UsKaminski Construction is a full service, a family-owned general contracting business based in Eugene, Oregon.
