With a commitment to quality and precision, Chroma continues to drive advancements across multiple high-tech sectors.Role SummaryChroma ATE, Inc. is looking for a qualified HR Generalist to manage a variety of human resource projects and task. The candidate will optimize human resources operational processes including but not limited to the recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, HR policy and procedure implementation, payroll assistance and back-up, time and attendance management, performance review as well as employee benefits administration. The ideal HR Generalist will possess in-depth knowledge of human resource operations along with State and Federal compliance. We are looking for strategic thinkers, problem-solvers, and self-starters with excellent communication skills. Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain HR Records: Update HR files in electronic format and manage physical and digital employee records, including profiles, documents, benefits, and attendance. Recruitment Coordination: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, and interview scheduling. Policy Development: Review and update the company policies that align with company culture as well as State and Federal regulationsPayroll and Calendar Management: Update annual payroll and holiday calendars. Provide weekly support with reporting and back-up coverage for the payroll administration as needed. Compliance and Audits: Ensure HR programs and services comply with established policies, procedures, and state/federal laws. Conduct audits of HR activities to ensure compliance. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain reports related to specific HR projects. Develop methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects. Employee Communication and Engagement: Facilitate employee communication and create engagement plans. Training and Development: Assign and provide training to employees when needed, aligning with Company initiatives as well as State and Federal requirements. Event Planning: Provide hands-on support for the planning of Company events and engagement activities. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Education / Experiences / SkillsEducation: BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in HR-related work.Skills and Abilities:Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Detail-oriented with strong business ethics.In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices.Solid understanding of research methods and analysis.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Proficiency with Rippling HRIS / Payroll is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent communication and consulting skills.Team player mentality.Industry Experience: Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry is a plus.Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.Benefits401(k) with employer matchDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceLong term & short term disability insurancePaid time offPaid Parental leaveVision insuranceChroma ATE, Inc.
