Growing together.Position Details:Locations: Westborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury, Milford, FraminghamHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMDepartment: Float Pool - Adult MedicineThis position performs a full range of medical support services while ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instrumentsRoom patients, obtain health history and check vital signsDocument patient care using electronic medical record softwarePerform phlebotomy, urinalysis and handle patient specimen samplesAdminister medications and perform injections/immunizationsAssist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testingYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Medical Assistant diploma, technical certificate or certification OR 1+ years of experience performing the critical skills of a medical assistant after on-the-job training OR Current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program OR EMT certificationSuccessful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) or completed within 90 days of date of hirePreferred Qualifications:Active medical assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA and CMAC)CPR certificationExperience working as a Medical Assistant or EMTExperience with electronic medical record softwareExperience performing medical back-office tasks including obtaining vital signs, injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis and administering medicationsProven excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
