This is a 12-month contract Position.Pay Range: $40 - $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factorsYour Responsibilities will include:Industrial Engineer II will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated, production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site. The Industrial Engineer II will adopt as its goals profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProject team member implementing projects that will eliminate waste through the standard Industrial Engineering processThis will include, but is not limited to: Capital Equipment Requests, Capabilities Studies, Plant Layouts, Tool Design, and Standard WorkDevelop Time standards for process steps to be used in the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB)Gather and analyze Industrial Engineering metrics for the assigned customer or areaCoordinate layout and facility move(s) for assigned customer or area(s)Collect, analyze, and review IEDB data to ensure accuracy and compliance with the standard processMonitor the SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations and ensure compliance with the standardized system configurationsGather and/or develop data for quotesCoach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering teamSupport and/or maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilitiesEnsure the standardization of processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional, and site directionSupport the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement throughout the organizationComply with all procedures in the company's security policy.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONSUnderstanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (i.e., work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design, etc.)Understanding of the site’s facilities, capabilities, and how they tie back to the strategies and directionStrong analytical abilityProven record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous improvements, and cost reduction programsStrong communication skillsProficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSDegree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required, or related Engineering disciplineMinimum 5 years of working experience in Industrial Engineering or a related fieldIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
