Must-have tools (at least 2)They should have strong hands-on experience with at least two of these:SolarWindsSplunkNagiosCisco DNA CenterThousandEyesLiveNXNetBrain Detailed Job Description Key Responsibilities:• Design, implement, and maintain network monitoring and management tools platforms.• Support and administer tools such as Solarwinds, LogiSplunk, Nagios, LiveNX.• Develop and manage custom integrations, dashboards, and APIs between network tools and IT systems.• Build and maintain automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration management, and data collection (e.g., using Ansible, Python, or REST APIs).• Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of network tools infrastructure.• Collaborate with network operations, engineering, and security teams to define monitoring and alerting standards.• Manage data ingestion pipelines for logs, SNMP traps, syslogs, and streaming telemetry.• Create and maintain documentation, topology maps, and operational runbooks.• Participate in incident response and assist in root cause analysis through monitoring data and metrics.• Evaluate and recommend new tools or enhancements to improve visibility, automation, and efficiency.• Ensure compliance with security and change management policies.Qualifications & Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.• 7 years of experience in network tools deployment & management.• Hands-on experience with at least two network monitoring/management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetBrain, Splunk, Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes).• Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and data processing.• Experience with Linux system administration and API-based integrations.• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid network monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP).Preferred:• Monitoring/automation certifications (SolarWinds Certified Professional, Ansible Certified Engineer, etc.).• Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins for network automation and CI/CD pipelines.Key Skills:• Strong technical expertise in network monitoring and management tools.• Excellent scripting and automation capabilities.• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.• bility to work collaboratively in cross-functional and global teams.• Good documentation and communication skills.• Proactive mindset for platform reliability and continuous improvement.
